I have been dealing with Chuck Barrington since September of 2004 concerning mortgages for my rental properties. I will be looking at building my own home in the next few months and I have no doubt that I will be asking Chuck for his expertise once again, he has been by far the most helpful, creative and honest banker I’ve dealt with. We first met Chuck Barrington when we moved back to Nova Scotia in January
1997 and required financing to purchase our home. With Chuck’s assistance,
the financing was effortless.
After retirement we decided to sell the large home we initially purchased in the metro area and move to a more rural setting. Chuck was there to help us achieve our new goals. Unfortunately, this time there were some major issues encountered just before the sale closed. Chuck was committed to helping us resolve these issues and we moved into our new home as planned.
Initially, Chuck was recommended by a friend, however, we continue to use his professional services because of the instant rapport that developed. He is friendly, knowledgeable and committed himself wholly to achieving our financial needs.

A few years ago, I was given a brochure outlining Chuck Barrington’s
services, in particular, providing mortgages representing BMO. I telephoned
Chuck and inquired about applying for a mortgage. As with most busy people,
I had to leave a message. I recall being impressed right away, as Chuck
called me back within the hour (something I am not use to with bankers).
At that time, I was planning to buy a condominium in Bedford, however
the development did not proceed, and therefore I did not need a mortgage.
Recently, I purchased another house
and Chuck has provided the financial support and once again, a very pleasant
experience, indeed. The advantages I have encountered include his availability
after hours, as it is most difficult to explore financial needs during
the day when I am working (something I believe other financial institutions
have not yet grasped). I find Chuck to be prompt, thorough, efficient,
courteous, reassuring, and knowledgeable. He has been instrumental in
my recent purchase, and I would recommend Chuck to those of you who have
busy schedules and want superior service that I would rate as
EXCELLENT!!!!! In closing, I believe time is the commodity of the 21st
century, therefore, anyone who can provide me with more time has my business,
and Chuck does just that!!!
